Our Story

We started off as friends planning events for our own loved ones. Baby showers, birthdays, bridal showers, weddings, you name it. We realized our passion for celebrations, creativity, and attention to detail could turn into something more which is why we officially launched The Creative Casa.
The Creative Casa is more than an event planning studio. We prefer to call ourselves a “celebration studio” because we believe every moment and milestone should be celebrated with those you love.
Meet Kristen.
Co-Founder. Chief Creator. Number cruncher. Organization junky. Kristen, the creative mind behind the designs, is a Miami native and is a mom to a spunky five-year-old daughter, Olivia, and one-year-old son, Luke. She attended Georgia Tech in Atlanta, Georgia where she studied Industrial Engineering. Upon graduating she entered the workforce but after 10 years she left her job in corporate America to take care of Olivia. She then launched The Creative Casa with Laura as an outlet to release her creative energy.
Meet Laura.
Co-Founder. Chief Networking Officer. Cake Designer. Hustler. Laura is a Miami native who finds a thrill in working with a budget and later seeing the vision come to life. She is a "people person" who talks to everyone and anyone to get the job done. She attended Northwestern University in Chicago, Ilinois where she studied communications. She is a mom to two boys, Santiago and Jose. Fun fact: Laura avoided diving head first into the event industry for a very long time, until she met Kristen, who she believes is the ying to her yang. Together we make it happen!
